Mother ~ daughter team, and Islanders Bianca and Bonnie welcome you to their luxury holiday bungalow Bonnie View, a beautiful space for you to relax and unwind. Inspired by Ventnor’s landscape, Bonnie view offers guests a connection to nature through thoughtful interior design, taking influence from the natural beauty surrounding us. With a central location and ample free parking on site it is an ideal base to explore the local area and across the island. We also have a bus stop at the bottom of our drive. We can provide discounts for Ferry travel on booking.

The space

A beautifully renovated bungalow in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. With amazing views of St Boniface Down, we're just a one minute walk to the nearest shop and a ten minute stroll to either the secluded beach at Bonchurch or Ventnor's sandy bay, complete with it's Victorian beach huts and access to refreshments all along the seafront. If walking is your thing then you can be on top of the downs in 15 minutes ( if you're fit! ). With superb interior design there are two large Bedrooms. One with King sized bed and one twin room. Both are quietly positioned at the rear with access to the designer bathroom with heated floor and touchscreen walk in shower.

The large Open Plan living Area looks out to Boniface Downs and Trinity Church. Fold back the bifold doors and bring the outside inside. The Nolte kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and has a breakfast bar. The dining table is set next to a picture window with panoramic downs views.

The sunny patio and garden overlook the church and have stunning views up to the Downs.

During the summer our elevated position gives us sun ( on sunny days! ) from 5am to as late as 9.30pm

Guest access

You have full use of the home and garden. No parts of the property other than the driveway are shared.

Other things to note

  • Although the parking area is very spacious the doorways inside the property are not suitable for wheelchair access.

  • Access is up our short but steep drive.

  • The church next door strikes it's bell on the hour throughout the day. We rarely notice it but think it's best that you know.

  • Local restaurants get very busy in the summer so it's best to book.

  • We are close to the local scout ground so you may occasionally hear some happy kids early on a Tuesday evening.

  • Unfortunately this property is not suitable for young children. We have big glass doors, large heavy mirrors and sharp corners at little person height. Over 12's only please.
